Adobo Seasoning Mix

A quick blend of oregano, garlic, onion, cumin and a little heat, stirred together in one bowl. Use it as a chicken seasoning or keep a small jar on hand.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • 2 teaspoons Butter Buds® Sprinkles
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

  • Put all the ingredients in a small bowl.
  • Stir until the mix is evenly blended.
  • Pour the mix into a small airtight jar.
  • Use it right away, or keep it in a cool, dry place.

Notes

About 1 tablespoon per pound of chicken. Keep in an airtight container away from heat, light, and moisture; use within about 6 months.
