Vanilla oleoresin in alcohol witch hazel with essential oils. Shake and spray on clothing or skin.

What You’ll Need

Choose one variation

  • Vanilla + ylang ylang: 18 drops vanilla oleoresin 2 drops ylang ylang, 1/4 cup rum, vodka or witch hazel
  • Vanilla + sweet orange: 16 drops vanilla oleoresin 4 drops sweet orange essential oil, 1/4 cup rum, vodka or witch hazel
  • Vanilla + coffee: 16 drops vanilla oleoresin 4 drops coffee essential oil, 1/4 cup rum, vodka or witch hazel
  • Witch hazel that contains alcohol (water-only witch hazel won't mix with vanilla oleoresin)
  • 2 ounce glass spray bottle

Directions

  • Mix all the ingredients for the variation you chose.
  • Pour into a glass spray bottle.
  • Keep in a cool, dark cabinet.

Notes

Shake before using; spray on clothing or skin (or on dark clothing if the scent doesn't suit your skin). The mix is light tan, so avoid white fabric. Avoid coffee essential oil in pregnancy. Safety: patch test; spray away from eyes and face; alcohol is flammable, so keep away from flame; sweet orange oil on skin can cause sun sensitivity; keep out of reach of children (contains alcohol); not for internal use.
