Sugar, coconut and corn flakes layered in a jar. Fold the mix into whipped egg whites for light, crisp coconut cookies.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups white sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 1/2 cups coconut
  • 1 1/2 cups corn flake cereal

Directions

  • Add the ingredients to a jar in layers.

Notes

Whip 3 egg whites until stiff and add 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract. Stir in the jar contents. Drop by teaspoons on an ungreased sheet and bake at 325 F for 15 minutes.
