Fabric softener crystals

Epsom salt with lavender and lemongrass oils. Add a scoop to the rinse cycle.

What You’ll Need

  • 2 cups Epsom salts
  • 10 drops Lavender essential oil
  • 10 drops Lemongrass essential oil
  • Large bowl airtight container (wide-mouth mason jar), tablespoon scoop

Directions

  • Put the Epsom salts and essential oils in a large bowl.
  • Stir until the oils are evenly worked into the crystals.
  • Keep in an airtight jar with a tablespoon scoop.

Notes

Add 2 Tbsp. directly to the clothes in the washer. Add more oil for a stronger scent, or swap in other oils.
Safety: essential oils are toxic to cats and other pets and can irritate skin; keep the jar closed and out of reach and label it not bath salts / not food.
