Never-Fail Chocolate Fudge
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/4 cup butter (or margarine)
- 1 small can evaporated milk (3/4 cup)
- Approximately 3/4 jar marshmallow fluff
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 large (12 oz.) package semi-sweet chocolate pieces
- 3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
- Combine the first five ingredients. Stir over low heat until blended. Bring to boil over moderate heat, careful not to mistake air bubbles for boiling.
- Then boil slowly, stirring constantly, for five minutes-half the time fudge making usually takes! Remove from heat, stir in chocolate and vanilla until chocolate is melted. Then turn into buttered 9x9-inch pan, and cool.
