Water, dish soap, glycerin and corn syrup mixed in a half-gallon jar for strong, long-lasting bubbles.
What You’ll Need
1Half-Gallon Mason Jar or other large container
4cupswater (warm water works best)
1cupdish soap
3Tablespoonsglycerin
¼cupcorn syrup or sugar
Directions
Pour the water, soap, glycerin, and corn syrup or sugar into a half-gallon Mason jar.
Stir slowly and gently, because hard stirring makes thick foam.
Cover the jar and leave it overnight before using.
To use, pour some into baking pans (handy for toddlers, who would empty a bottle fast).
Notes
Equal parts corn syrup can replace the glycerin.Safety: NOT edible. Supervise little ones so they don't drink it, and rinse eyes with water if splashed. Wet soap makes patios and decks slippery. A glass jar can break; a plastic jug is safer around small kids.
