Flour, oats, sugars, dried cranberries and pecans layered in a quart jar. Add butter, an egg and vanilla for a classic holiday gift cookie.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup plus 2 tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup flour mixed with 1/2 tsp. baking soda and 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/3 cup plus 1 tbsp. packed brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup pecans

Directions

  • Add the ingredients to a quart jar in layers, following the order listed.

Notes

Cream 1/2 cup butter (softened), 1 egg and 1 tsp. vanilla, mix in the whole jar, drop spoonfuls onto a greased sheet, and bake at 350 F for 8 to 10 minutes. Contains nuts.
