A shelf-stable French vanilla egg nog mix made from pudding, creamer, nutmeg and powdered milk. Stir 3 to 4 tablespoons into milk and ice for a glass, or pack it in gift jars.

Ingredients

Large batch

6 ounces French vanilla instant pudding
6 ounces powdered coffee creamer
2 tablespoons nutmeg
96 ounces (3 quarts) powdered milk

Small batch

3 ounces French vanilla instant pudding
3 ounces powdered coffee creamer (about 3/4 cup)
1 tablespoon ground nutmeg
1 1/8 cups powdered milk

Directions

Stir everything together thoroughly and keep it in an airtight container or in gift jars.

Notes

One glass: blend 3 to 4 tablespoons of mix with 1 cup of milk and 1 cup of ice until smooth. Optionally add 1 teaspoon vanilla extract or a shot of rum. Top with whipped cream and a little nutmeg if you like.
