White vinegar and lemon oil, then a little olive oil to buff. Spray, wipe with the grain and buff.
What You’ll Need
500mlwhite vinegar
20dropslemonorange, or grapefruit essential oil
Olive oil or coconut oil (small amount, for shine)
Glass spray bottle; three cotton non-scratch cloths
Directions
Put the essential oil in the spray bottle.
Pour in the vinegar and attach the trigger sprayer.
Notes
Shake, spray, wait a few seconds, and wipe with the grain. Let vinegar soak on stuck food (no baking soda — it cancels the vinegar). For shine, buff in a little olive or coconut oil with a dry cloth, then wipe off residue. Keeps six months or more; discard if it looks or smells off.Safety: label it and keep from kids and pets; never mix vinegar with bleach or hydrogen peroxide; don't use on granite, quartz, marble or other stone, or on metallic paint. Clean any reused bottle well first.
