What You’ll Need

  • 6 Jumbo Marshmallows
  • 1 TBL Cooking Oil
  • 1/2- 1 TBL Cornstarch Powder

Equipment

  • microwave-safe bowl

Directions

  1. Put 6 marshmallows and 1 TBL of oil in a microwave-safe bowl.
  2. Microwave on high for 30 secs (timing depends on the microwave wattage).
  3. Stir in 1/2 tablespoon cornstarch.
  4. Let it cool until you can handle it, then knead and play. For a stiffer, putty-like slime, work in another 1/2 tablespoon cornstarch.

Notes

Hardens as it cools; doesn’t last all day or overnight.
Safety: EDIBLE (taste-safe) but not meant as food; small tastes are fine. Most marshmallows contain gelatin (not vegetarian). Sticky and sugary, so wash hands and faces afterward. Good choice for toddlers who mouth things, with an adult right there.
