Ingredients

  • 2 cups chopped watermelon
  • 1 cup chopped strawberries
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 3–4 tablespoons water optional to help blending

Equipment

  • blender

Directions

  1. Blend the watermelon, strawberries, and honey in a blender until no pieces remain. Add the water a little at a time, only if needed to keep the blades moving.
  2. Pour into a shallow freezer-safe dish, about 5×5 inches.
  3. Freeze for at least 4 hours, until scoopable.
  4. If it is very hard, let it soften at room temperature for 5 to 10 minutes before scooping.

Notes

For a quick version, blend already frozen watermelon and strawberries with the honey (and as little water as you can) to a soft-serve texture and eat it right away, without refreezing.
