Candy Cookies in a Jar

A simple sugar cookie base layered in a jar. Add butter, an egg and a cup of chopped candy bars to bake chunky candy cookies.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar firmly packed
- 1 tsp. powdered vanilla
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 2 cups flour
Equipment
- mason jars
- mixing bowl
- baking sheet
Directions
- Add the ingredients to a jar in layers.
Notes
Add 1 cup unsalted butter or margarine, softened, 1 large egg and 1 cup candy bar chunks. Beat the butter, add the egg, then mix in the cookie mix and candy. Scoop 1 1/2-inch balls onto an ungreased sheet and bake at 350 F for 10 to 12 minutes.
