Cornstarch and cocoa powder mixed with warm water into a squishy mud for toy bugs and dinosaurs.
What You’ll Need
- 3 1/2 Cups of Cornstarch
- 1/2 Cup of Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
- 2 Cups of Warm Water
- Tray plastic bugs

Directions
- Mix the cornstarch and cocoa powder together in a bowl or on a tray.
- Pour in the warm water slowly.
- Stir well, adding more water if needed.
- If it is too watery, thicken it with more cornstarch.
- Pour it onto a tray and add plastic bugs.
Notes
Safety: Taste-safe ingredients but not a food; it is meant for play, not eating. Plastic bugs are a choking hazard under age 3; supervise. Cocoa is toxic to dogs, so keep pets away and clean up. Don’t pour large amounts of cornstarch mix down the drain (it can clog); scrape into the trash.
