  • ½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 2 Tbsp packed brown sugar
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
  • ⅛ tsp ground allspice
  • ⅛ tsp ground ginger
  • ⅛ tsp ground cloves
  • 2 Tbsp salted butter
  • 2 Tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 2 Tbsp molasses
  • ⅛ tsp salt
  • 1½ tsp vanilla extract

Equipment

  • baking sheet
  • mixing bowl

Directions

  1. Heat the oven to 300°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the oats, coconut, nuts, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, ginger, and cloves.
