What You’ll Need

  • 2 oz. Rose Flower Water (Hydrosol)
  • 1 oz. Witch Hazel Extract
  • 1 TBSP Aloe Vera Gel
  • 1/2 tsp Vegetable Glycerin
  • 7 drops Lavender Essential Oil
  • 4 drops Chamomile Extract (Tincture)
  • Clean 4 oz. bottle with a fingertip mister

Equipment

  • spray bottle

Directions

  1. Put everything in the clean bottle, fit the mister on top, and shake to mix.

Notes

Wash your face with water and pat dry; mist with toner, let air dry or pat dry; follow with moisturizer. Shake before each use (it separates).
This is a water-based mix with aloe and no added preservative, so keep it in the refrigerator and use it within a few weeks, or add a cosmetic preservative. If you use a home herbal tea instead of hydrosol, it will not keep unless refrigerated. Throw it out if it smells off or turns cloudy.
Safety: patch test; keep out of eyes; chamomile can bother people with ragweed allergy; alcohol-based witch hazel can dry sensitive skin.
