Mason jars painted over a tree-shaped sticker, which is peeled off to leave a glowing tree when a tea light is inside.
What You’ll Need
- Medium sized Mason jars
- Christmas tree stickers
- Multi-surface paint in red green & gold
- Paint brushes
- Candles (tea candle)
Equipment

Directions
- Wash the Mason jars.
- Stick a Christmas tree sticker on each jar.
- Brush paint over the whole jar until it is fully covered.
- Pull off the stickers while the paint is still tacky.
- Leave the paint to dry.
- Bake the paint in the oven to set it, following the paint maker’s directions.
- Place a tea candle inside and light it.
Notes
Time: an evening; cost under $10; easy. Never leave a lit candle unattended; LED tea light for kids.
