Flour, salt, hot water and oil kneaded into a dough for modeling, handprints and ornaments.
What You’ll Need
- 4 cups flour
- 1 cup salt
- 1 ½ cups hot water
- 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
Equipment
- mixing bowl
Directions
- Stir the salt and flour together.
- Make a hollow in the middle; pour in the water, then the oil.
- Knead, adding more flour or water as needed.
- Roll it out and cut shapes with cookie cutters.
Notes
Safety: NOT edible. Very high in salt: keep raw dough and finished pieces away from dogs and cats (salt poisoning risk). Adult handles the hot water. Contains wheat.
