Ingredients

  • Eggs: as many as you like to fill the bottom of the pot rack
  • 1 cup water
  • Instant Pot electric pressure cooker

Equipment

  • mixing bowl

Directions

  1. Pour the 1 cup of water into the pot. Place the eggs in a steamer basket, or on the rack that came with the pot.
  2. Close the lid and cook for 5 minutes at high pressure.
  3. It takes about 5 minutes to come up to pressure, then cooks for 5 minutes. Let the pressure release on its own for 5 more minutes, then do a quick release. The whole process is about 15 minutes.
  4. Put the hot eggs in cool water to stop the cooking. Peel right away or later. (Without the cool water they still peel easily, but the eggs are a little more cooked.)
