Applesauce Cookie Mix

A layered jar of brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, raisins and nuts. Add butter, an egg and applesauce to bake soft spiced drop cookies.
Ingredients
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 3/4 cup raisins
- 3/4 cup chopped nuts
Equipment
- mason jars
- mixing bowl
- baking sheet
Directions
- Pack the ingredients into a clean mason jar one layer at a time.
- Tie a ribbon around the lid, and add a label and a wooden spoon if you like.
Notes
Add 3/4 cup butter or shortening, 1 egg and 1/2 cup applesauce. Drop by teaspoons on a greased sheet and bake 8 to 12 minutes at 350 F. Contains nuts.
