What You’ll Need

  • 1/2 oz argan oil (14 grams)
  • 1/4 oz jojoba oil (7 grams)
  • 1/4 oz sweet almond oil (7 grams)
  • 7 drops lavender essential oil
  • 5 drops rosemary essential oil
  • 3 drops cedarwood essential oil
  • 1 ounce amber glass bottle with dropper

Equipment

  • glass bottle

Directions

  1. Pour everything into the amber bottle.
  2. Swirl gently to blend.

Notes

Put 3 to 5 drops in one palm (more for a longer beard, one drop at a time), spread it over the beard with your fingertips, massage it down to the skin, and smooth with a small comb. Use daily on a freshly washed, towel-dried beard. Store it in amber glass, which slows oxidation; essential oils can break down plastic. Safety: do a patch test first. Sweet almond oil is a nut oil, so swap in jojoba for anyone with a nut allergy. Rosemary oil is best avoided during pregnancy.
