Pink Himalayan bath salts

Epsom salts, peony petals and fine and coarse Himalayan salt. No essential oils, so it is gentle and pretty.
What You’ll Need
- 1 cup Epsom salts
- 1/2 cup dried peony petals crushed
- 1/4 cup fine Himalayan pink salt
- 1/4 cup coarse Himalayan pink salt
- Jars (and a scoop) for gifting
Equipment
- spice grinder
- mason jars
Directions
- Crumble the dried peony petals by hand, or pulse them in a herb grinder, until you have 1/2 cup crushed petals (leave some bigger pieces if you like).
- Stir the petals into the salts until mixed.
- Pack into jars, with a scoop if you like.
Notes
Standard tub: 1/2 cup in a warm bath; soaker tub: 1 cup. Soak 20 minutes. Put a strainer over the drain to catch petals for compost, or put the salts in a paper tea filter or muslin bag. Petals must be fully dry; store airtight. Safety: patch test; keep dry; petals can clog drains.
