Epsom salt, Himalayan sea salt, baking soda, rose oil and petals. A pretty pink soak for gifts.
What You’ll Need
- 1 cup Epsom salt
- 1-1/2 cup Himalayan sea salt
- 1 tablespoon baking soda
- 4-8 drops of rose essential oil
- 1/3 cup organic dried rose petals
- Food processor or blender decorative airtight containers
Equipment
- mixing bowl
- mason jars
Directions
- Stir the baking soda, Epsom salt, and Himalayan sea salt together in a bowl.
- Add the rose essential oil, 4-8 drops depending on how strong you like it.
- Pulse the rose petals in a food processor or blender until they look like confetti.
- Stir the petals into the salt with a spoon or your hands.
- Spoon into decorative airtight containers.
Notes
Add 1/2 to 1 cup to a warm bath. Keep airtight and dry. Use organic, pesticide-free roses, and catch the petals before draining (or use a shower strainer) so they don't clog the drain. Safety: do a patch test first. Rose oil is costly, so rose absolute or a rose fragrance oil can stand in.
