Cornstarch and water in light or heavy strengths. Shake well and iron as usual.
What You’ll Need
- Light starch: one tablespoon of cornstarch with two cups of cold water
- Heavier starch: three tablespoons of cornstarch with two cups of cold water
- Bowl; 16-ounce fine-mist spray bottle

Directions
- Put the cornstarch and cold water in a bowl.
- Stir until the cornstarch is fully dissolved.
- Pour into the spray bottle.
Notes
Shake, spray the garment, and iron immediately. Safety: test on dark fabrics (can leave white marks); label the bottle.
