Ingredients

  • ¾ cup instant coffee granules
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • ½ cup dry milk powder (nondairy creamer can be swapped)
  • 3 tablespoons butter powder
  • ¼ teaspoon fine sea salt

Equipment

  • mixing bowl
  • pint jars

Directions

  1. Stir everything together until evenly mixed, then spoon it into a pint jar and seal.

Notes

Hot: stir 3 tablespoons of mix into 8 ounces of hot water or hot milk (a frother makes it foamier). Iced: dissolve 3 tablespoons of mix in 2 tablespoons of hot water, stir in 6 ounces of cold milk, pour over ice. Storage: sealed jar in a cool, dry pantry up to six months; break up clumps with a fork; shake or stir before use. A gift tag can use the 3-tablespoon ratio. Contains caffeine and dairy powders.
