What You’ll Need

  • 2/3 bar Fels Naptha Soap
  • 1/2 cup Borax
  • 1/2 cup Washing Soda

Equipment

  • food processor
  • airtight jar

Directions

  1. Shred the Fels Naptha soap with a grater.
  2. Stir in the borax and washing soda.
  3. Mix well and keep in an airtight container.

Notes

1 to 2 tablespoons per load. Low sudsing; it can be used in HE washers.
Safety: wear gloves and avoid breathing the dust when mixing; borax and washing soda are irritants and harmful if swallowed — keep away from kids and pets and label the jar. Fels Naptha can irritate sensitive skin.
