Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 1/2 cup mini marshmallows packed separately
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons margarine added when cooking

Equipment

  • zip-top bags
  • mug
  • microwave-safe bowl

Directions

  1. Place the chocolate chips, sugar, and chopped nuts in a small zip-top bag. Close it and shake to mix.
  2. Place the mini marshmallows in a second small zip-top bag.
  3. To give as a gift, set both bags in a mug lined with tissue paper.

Notes

Combine the mix with 2 1/2 tablespoons margarine in a microwave-safe mug. Microwave for 3 minutes. Carefully remove and quickly stir in the mini marshmallows until melted. Cool 5 to 7 minutes, then refrigerate 8 to 10 minutes to set. Dry mix keeps up to 3 months in airtight bags in a cool, dry place (refrigerate in a warm kitchen). Prepared fudge keeps 3 to 4 days refrigerated, covered.
