Marker (washable)

Most are washable, but some brands and colors (red especially) are stubborn.

  1. Try this first

Rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab

Wet a cotton swab with rubbing alcohol. Start at the outside of the stain and work in, blotting gently. When the swab is full of ink, switch to a fresh one so you do not spread it. Keep going until the mark is gone, then launder as the care label says.

Rubbing alcohol can take dye out of fabric. Test a hidden spot first.

Still there? Try the all-purpose ways or pick another stain.
